Children are a true blessing of the Lord and a reward. I am so thankful to God and my wife for my precious children. Here are my two youngest out for a walk in the fresh autumn air up on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. I ran ahead of them, set up my tripod, and then waited for them to come around the corner. I wanted to get an action shot because I'm getting tired of posed photos. I was happy with the result as they came walking around the corner hand-in-hand with their beautiful mother. You may have heard the hymn, "Count your many blessings, name them one by one." Well, here are three of my biggest blessings, with one missing. I hope this inspirational photography image and fine art landscape inspires you to count your many blessings and to name them one by one.
I just love the autumn more than any other season. There's something very precious about all of the leaves changing such brilliant colors, the cold windy days, and the early morning frost that covers the grass and plants. I took this inspirational photography image of a frost covered plant up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. My goal is to help others see the awesome beauty and splendor in God's creation through my fine art landscapes. I took this inspirational photography image of my wife when she was pregnant with my son, Judah. I like the way that most of her face is in the shadows and turned away from the diffused light coming in the window. This fine art photograph speaks to me of the beauty of a pregnant woman and the beauty of the love that holds the husband and wife together and brings forth a God-designed family.

Though this is not really a Christian fine art landscape, it is an inspiring portrait of a child at play with art.
This version of the hibiscus flower was the one that I did not submit to the photo contest of the Blue Ridge Photographic Society. I liked it, but I thought the other one was more creative. Nonetheless, I still like this photograph and I wanted to share it here with you. The center reminds me of what a hummingbird's feast would look like. We just had our next Blue Ridge Photographic Society photo contest, and this is the losing photo that I submitted. Out of five contestants, this photo by Josiah Friberg came in 4th place :( The competition this time was very stiff and hard to beat. Alisha H. won the contest with her amazing and creative rose photo that had her 3 daughters-flowers embedded into the rose petals. Castine F. came in 2nd place with her gorgeous flower photo, followed up closely by Pam C.'s incredible and perfect photo. These winning photos will be posted soon for you to see and compare. I'm a tiny bit sad that mine got such a low score, along with John's, but Alisha's photo had all of the right elements working together to make her the clear winner this time. Congratulations Alisha! Castine and Pam both had perfect photographs which I thought were great as well.
