I took this photograph from about 5 miles southwest of Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Bodey - Blue Ridge Photographic Society

This is the famous Bodey Island light and light-keeper's house on the Outer Banks of coastal North Carolina. A true "lighthouse" integrates the light with the house forming a single unit.
